Body Parts

As an artist creator I manipulated figures by dissecting, assembling, duplicating, multiplying, mutating, clothing or unclothing them. I could use a body of a male, a female, a non-descript gender, or a child to make a certain statement. As long as we are humans, the human body will always be an object of interest, making the human body a powerful tool in art creation. I made these figures by wrapping my body in sections with many layers of glued newspaper and further finished the surface with layers of paint and latex rubber.
