Egg Incubators

This series is about women’s reproductive experiences: women’s bodies going through physiological changes, child bearing and nurturing, artificial insemination, sexual violence, and the body being controlled by other forces. I drew these images on vinyl sheets, then stretched them over ColorCore panels. I also used LED lights to brighten the drawings from behind, trying to create light box effects.
