XYZ House
This is the initial sculptural series that I developed after graduating from art school. Early on with children, the home was my domain. I thought about defining the space I inhabited by developing a three-dimensional XYZ axis, and I imagined placing myself in this mathematical space. I occupied it as if it were my house to inhabit and a house prison to break away from. Being made with steel and concrete, the sculptures are architectural and at the same time psychological, dealing with the juxtaposition of the relationship and social meanings attached to the house.
